Hello, this is Sogang University Game & Continuing Education Institute. 
If you wish to confer a degree in the name of the president of Sogang University and the name of the Minister of Education in February 2023, please refer to the information below to apply.
  

● Application period: 
   - Degree application under the name of the president: 2022. 12. 05 (Mon) - 12. 20 (Tue) 09:00~17:00
   - Degree application under the name of the Minister of Education: 2022. 12. 15 (Thu) - 2023. 1. 16(Mon) 10:00~18:00

※ Applicants for a degree under the name of the Minister of Education, please apply individually at the Academic Credit Bank website of the National Institute for Lifelong Education (https://www.cb.or.kr).

 
● Eligible applicants: Those who meet the conditions below, including all credits for the courses currently being taken.
  * Undergraduate: 140 or more credits in total, satisfying major, 60 or more credits in major (major + major), 30 or more credits in liberal arts * Other majors: 48 or more credits in
  total, sufficient major, 48 credits or more in major (major + major)

 
※ Criteria for obtaining a degree in the name of the president
   * Those who have completed 84 or more credits at this institute
   * Those who have completed 48 or more credits in other majors at this institute

 
● How to apply
   - Sogang University Game & Lifelong Education Center Room 107, Kim Dae-Geon Building Visit the administrative office or submit via e-mail (iile@sogang.ac.kr) ●
    
 
Documents to be submitted (only applicable to degree applicants in the name of the president)
  - Degree application form and degree application consent form, 1 copy each (Download and fill out the attached file and submit it)
   * In the case of a degree applicant in the name of the president, you must apply through the institution (this institute)!

※ You must complete the application for credit recognition for all credits, including this semester, between December 15, 2022 and January 13, 2023 (1st quarter credit recognition application period) in order to obtain a degree.
 

● Precautions

  - For those who are expected to obtain a degree in February 2023 (spring semester), learner registration must be completed by the 4th quarter (October) of 2022.
  - Those who meet the requirements for obtaining a degree, including the course they are currently taking, can apply.
  - Be sure to submit the (Additional applications are not allowed outside of the period)
  - Degree applications under the name of the Minister of Education can be individually submitted through the National Institute for Lifelong Education, and the timing of application for degrees under the name of the president of this institute is different.
